hi, i’m lex.

i am an interdisciplinary "maker." i run a fashion company, specializing in the design and craft of natural fiber coats, cloaks, capes, and other outerwear. i also freelance as a design consultant. i am passionate about reading (anything and everything), exploring the outdoors with my doggo Vela, and working on projects promoting creative collaboration, DEIJ+, and corporate social responsibility in the outdoor industry. feel free to peruse my work and contact me if you'd like to collaborate on a project!

I wear many hats at Half Moon Design Inc., which includes the anachronistic/renaissance/cosplay brand Half Moon Travel Clothing and the western contemporary brand New Moon Outerwear. I design, pattern, sew, oversee manufacturing and retail sales, work closely with clients on custom commissions, and manage the business administration.
